God was in the building

I played this Sunday. There ended up being the of us and God was in the building. We cried, we laughed a lot and we got to know each other through Christ. It was open and authentic conversation.

I think deck two was hitting the hardest for us and we did two wild cards. Really loved it. Already planning a friend group gathering to play.

I wish more people knew about this game.

Four kids, and they are begging for deck two

YES! I played the first deck with my kids aged 16, 13, 11 and 9. I'm 41 and we had so much fun and it brought us closer together.

Even better, THEY ARE BEGGING TO PLAY THE SECOND DECK.

I plan to bring it to the youth group meetings at my church.

Eight couples, and nobody wanted to stop

Yes we played Friday night! I ordered 4 and gave the other 3 away as gifts. Eight of us couples played together that night.

EVERYONE LOVED this game. We laughed, and yes there were tears. We started on level 2 and it got deep quick but everyone was a good sport. After the first card on level 2 we went back to level 1 to lighten things up, and then on to level 3.

The conversation it provokes is really beautiful and interesting. You get to learn things about each other in a safe environment. We only had one person pass one time. Everyone was engaged even when it went deep.

My 9th grade girls asked the hard questions

I played the game with my Lifegroup of 9th grade girls. I'm their leader. We had set aside a day for hard questions they could ask of me and my co-leader, and I ordered this game to break the ice and open the door for them to feel free to ask questions of their own.

The Lord used this game so beautifully. Some laughter, some excitement, and absolutely some tears as we moved through the levels.

The girls were so open and ready when it was their turn to ask us the hard questions that are so often on a young lady's heart. They enjoyed it so much we've chosen to do it again this Sunday to get to all their questions.

Our first family devotional

My family and extended family, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins, started getting together for a family devotional. We just had our first one, and I brought Not Just Sundays to play at the end.

It really opened up some deep and powerful conversations about life and faith. It was so beautiful. Brought us closer to each other, and to the Lord. I loved hearing everyone's stories. How they've grown in faith, how they've fallen and been picked up.

Yes, we are family, so we thought we knew each other pretty well. We do, but this was on a very intimate level. It opened that space beyond the surface level conversations.

I never respond to these emails, but I was really excited about this.

Empty nesters at the dinner table again

Yes, my husband and I have played it. We use it as a way to connect over dinner.

We are empty nesters and it's easy to get into a routine of dinner in front of the TV, scroll on phones, go to bed. But instead, we sit at the table for dinner and pull out a few cards to talk. It's been great.

I also love that it gives me conversation prompts for group chats and other times where an opening question is helpful.

We played it every night in Honduras

I'm responding to this as I'm sitting in an airport on my way back to Dallas following a missions trip with Serve Hope in Honduras. Our trip consisted of building a house, passing out water filters, and sharing the gospel.

The whole trip was amazing, but the cherry on top was playing Not Just Sundays at the end of each day. The game facilitated such meaningful conversations among all of us who were serving alongside one another. It was incredible to get to know the people I thought I already knew fairly well on a deeper level.

Because of how much everyone enjoyed it, I decided to leave it at the mission house in Honduras so that the teams who come after us will be able to use it and be blessed by it as well.

Level 3 brought out strong testimonies

I lead a small home group of women from my church. We had our monthly gathering last weekend. Level 3 brought out some strong testimonies and a few tears.

I went last and my card asked what I learned by playing this game. I learned that you can't look at someone and know what they are going through or what they have been through. I also learned how to pray specifically for several of the ladies.

We all discovered connections within our group and how important it is to share our trials and victories to help others overcome. It was good to know we are all going through battles. We bonded!

Speaking truth over each person

I've been using these cards with our kids ministry interns this summer. It's been such a blessing to open up conversation that might not have flowed so easily.

This past week the question was to tell a stranger how you would describe the person who drew the card. We decided to go around the room and speak truth about each person. It had many in tears. Incredible team building moment.

One card a day, in my journal

I have been using the game to pick out a card every day and then answer it for myself, writing them down in my journal.

It's been quite eye-opening and thought provoking. I'm sure that could be another use for it.

I can't wait until my grown family gets together and we sit around the table getting to know each other better, as we have gone our separate ways in the last few years.

A canoe trip and a breakthrough

I brought the game on a canoe trip with a bunch of youth I'm mentoring, and we used it as a way to grow closer and create space for deeper conversations.

By the end of the trip, the game had helped them open up and share things they had been carrying, and we got to see God bring freedom from addiction, depression, and insecurities.

God moved. It was crazy.

It changed what VBS meant for us

I was facilitating the adult group in our VBS. After we finished our Bible study and the conversation started to lull, I opened the box. We started off with a couple of starter questions, then soon we were getting deeper into the level two and three questions. Things started to get very deep and we did have tears.

Tuesday through Friday my Bible study took on a whole new meaning. We dug deep and bonded over spiritual questions, morality questions, and so much more.

Not Just Sundays has brought a whole new concept to my ministry moving forward.

A dinner party where everyone brought a game

I hosted a dinner party and everyone brought games. I brought this one and it was a hit!

We talked deeply, shared laughs, and two of us shed a couple tears. This was a great game for us as we are all deepening our faith relationships. This definitely bonded us closer together.

We used mostly the first two levels, but even some of those hit as deep as the higher ones. It was honestly the best time. What a wonderful product, worth every penny.

He is finding his way and this opened the door

I wanted to buy this because the concept is incredible. I'm on my walk with Christ and my long time boyfriend is finding his way. I felt like it's been difficult to have open conversations about faith with him.

This game was such a great ice breaker. There were some tears and vulnerable moments. I plan on playing this with my church family too.

Catholic family game night

Catholic family here. Parents, sisters and husbands, boyfriends, nieces and nephews. We've always been close and we love having game nights a few times a month, but we often struggle to find new games everyone enjoys while being God centered.

We went right through this one for hours! So many tears, so many beautiful reflection moments. We'll definitely be adding it to the rotation.
